Greetings from Jerusalem.
This is my 3rd time doing this entry due to not being used to the Jewish keyboard in Novotel, Jerusalem. And I have no idea why this pc kept auto shut down. Wasted my MYR50 in logging in to edit the entries.
It has been 4 full days ever since I’ve touched down to the land of Middle East. Started with a half-day tour in Dubai before transiting on a flight to Amman on the same day (4th March).
It’s 9:30pm in Jerusalem right now.
Here is a picture of me standing at Mount of Beatitudes, with the background view of Sea of Galilee.
I’ve been visiting to many historical sites which has been written in the Bible such as Sea of Galilee, Meggido, Mount Nebo, Mount Tabor, Cana of Galilee and many more. It was awesome to be able to spend 2 nights in Renaissance Nazareth Hotel, the hometown where Jesus Christ grew up.
Nadal, our tour guide has been very informative in the history and the current situation of Israel. This is because Nadal is a Palestinian Christian who is also a theologian lecturer in a bible college in Jerusalem.
Tomorrow, I will be visiting the place where Jesus was crucified and the wailing walls of Jerusalem. I hope I will be able to learn more things from this pilgrimage tour to the Holy Land.
Keep praying for our safety as there was a shooting in Jerusalem last night. At least 8 were killed, while 20 were injured. The tension between the Palestinians and Israelis are ever rising (and complicated) in this Holy Land.
Till then, Shalom!
P.S. Happy Voting Day for 8 March 2008! Remember to vote for a change!
