One of my greatest dreams is to travel around the world. It may be a wallet-emptying affair but it certainly illustrates the eye-opening experience for me to see the world and embrace other cultures at the same time.
Soaring with the wings of the skies
Until to-date, I have flown to a few countries around the globe in addition with hitting several tourist spots in our country as well.
With my ex-colleague Ager shivering in Sapa Mountains
January 2008 began when I ventured across the region to the country where dogs are fast becoming an endangered species; VIETNAM!
The winter weather was unexpected but I would love to return to this country in near future because of the street food.
At a beach which is nearby the Burj Al- Arab Hotel, Dubai
I am very fortunate to be able to tour around Dubai during my transit from KL-Dubai-Amman. Even though it was barely 6 hours on the soil of United Arab Emirates, I managed to see the upcoming skyline, the gold street plus grabbing some cheap candies at one of their local stores.
Dome of the Rock is one of the famous icons of Jerusalem
Apart from visiting some biblical sites in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Israel was the main destination for my pilgrimage to the Holy Land.
Spending more than a week in the Holy Land unquestionably refreshes my faith in the Lord.
Behind me is a far view of the City of Jerusalem
Being able to see and touch what was left behind 2000 years ago was indubitably amazing.
It was undeniably the best trip of my lifetime.
Enjoying the sunshine at Cherating Beach
Besides going overseas, I managed to stop over at the East Coast of Malaysia. Having said that, I am a fan of beaches or any place with water.
Cherating Beach, accompanied with the waves of South China Sea, enables me to fully relax when I am there.
Flying with Malaysia Airlines
A big thank you to my current company, I was being sent to Singapore for training recently.
If not, Singapore would not have been part of my traveling itinerary this year.
Playing with Merlin Junior at Merlion Park
You wouldn’t believe me; the last time I visited Singapore, I was only 7 years old!!
I have no idea how Singapore has transformed for the past 17 years and I could scarcely recall anything except for Sentosa Island.
With the eminent mass rapid transit system (MRT), I am simply astounded with the linkage of different lines which connects Singapore from east to west and north to south.
It is undoubtedly that I will come back.
Dipping myself into the Chiling River
My most recent trip was to the Chiling Waterfalls near Kuala Kubu Baru. With this trip, I found myself being close to the nature by allowing my feet wrapped in sandals to trot on the muddy trails for more than an hour in order to reach the Chiling Falls.
I just love trips like this. Isn’t it wonderful to be able to stand in the proximity of God’s awesome creation?
Once in a while we should really get away from the concrete jungle. I had enough of buildings and condominiums in the city.
Now, where will the world take me to?
