Languages used in other countries may differ from us. However, the English they used in China, particularly in Shenzhen made me roared in laughter.
Upon landing in Shenzhen International Airport, this was the first signboard that I noticed when I got into the terminal.
“VISA For ALIENS???!!!”
Hmm, do I look like an ALIEN?
I don’t think I am the E.T. from Steven Spielberg movies. Why do they call me an Alien??? Gosh!
After passing through the immigration in the airport, we took a bus to the Shenzhen Railway station to take the MRT to Hong Kong.
The signboard once again caught my attention. “Please leave the country by lift!!”
WOW. Someone please lift me up now!
“To Fuk Road”???
This sounds so wrong if you mispronounce the road name. Please don’t pronounce it wrongly!!
Now what do you think of when you come across “Tiu Keng Leng“?
Probably the Cantonese-speaking people would imagine this phrase wildly!!
Enough of signs and road names in Hong Kong. But wait, is that ISA?
Is there an ISA in Hong Kong? Oh my gosh, this means I have to behave well in Hong Kong too?
Ish, only to find out that it is a well-known boutique in Hong Kong. ISA Boutique…. sounds bad if the owner decides to open branches in Malaysia.
Who wants to walk into ISA anyway?
P.S. I am tired, and I need to sleep peacefully tonight. Loving you guys from Manila…
