I have not done justice to my online sanctuary as I was being avalanched by the preparations of my wedding. Before I type further, I want to dedicate this blog entry to all the ones mentioned here.
Gnawing over every teeny-weeny details, scrutinizing from A-Z, and squeezing the brain juices dry are few of the usual mad moments before the big day. We are not talking about hours of brainstorming and presenting a slideshow to the client the next day. We are drenched in serious business and infected with months and months of tachycardia (read: rapid heartbeat)
In all honesty, we would not have a successful wedding yesterday without the unity and hardworking effort of our friends. You have no idea how thankful I am to Abba Father for the faithfulness of my friends daily.
I am lost for words as I clicked PLAY again and again on the slide presentation of the Tea Ceremony— with tears flowing down my cheeks as my mind concludes that I am definitely blessed and grateful to have such a close group of friends.
As I am typing now, it is just challenging for me to think in a straight manner as my eyes are fighting to erupt. I am at awe with my friends’ determined-to-perform-well spirit. Each and everyone of you went all out to ensure that there were no flaws throughout the holy matrimony and the wedding dinner.
My heart felt like a sponge being squeezed when I saw my wedding coordinators running up and down like mad men and my bridesmaids and groomsmen expanded their services and catering to the needs of the wedding.
Not forgetting my beloved ushers put on their best hospitality behavior to welcome the guests at the reception and some helped with the cupcakes decor.
My first few teardrops were stimulated by God’s presence when my worship team executed ‘Unfailing Love’ by Chris Tomlin perfectly.
My maid of honor’s speech caused a stream of river on my cheeks last night. The speech given by the best man was definitely inspiring.
My husband’s surprise song number touched many hearts of the floor especially mine. I could not stop crying, but had to hold onto my tears so that I do not destroy my make-up. I love you hun.
In summary, my friends were extremely stretched out to achieve last night’s success. I have to repeat this — we would not be able to do it without you. All of you define That’s What Friends are For! And I know saying thank you is not enough for what you have done!
I love you guys very much! This blog entry is for you! ♥ (and of course to my dearest hubby who have made it all happen too!)
